Ltd. is a family owned metal fabricating business with a primary
focus on custom attachments. Founded in 1952 by Jack Nye, our company
offers expertise developed through more than 50 years of building,
modifying and repairing heavy equipment of all types.

Nye has
extensive facilities for designing and fabricating allied equipment,
a modern office with up-to-date manufacturing and CAD systems and
a fully equipped plant with: rolls, presses, plate burning machines,
iron workers, semi-automatic welding machines, drills, mills and
lathes etc. We keep a full inventory of: Q&T, structural, alloy
and abrasion-resistant steels, as well as cutting edges and a range
of popular ground-engaging tools.
Nye is
well known for quality attachments. In the tough conditions of the
northeastern seaboard there are more Nye buckets than anywhere else.
Our rugged UHD buckets are used extensively in Newfoundland where
only the toughest buckets can work "The Rock". In Nova Scotia the
success of our larger XHD and UHD buckets has made Nye the first choice
of dealers and end-users.
Nye products
are built to suit the end-users needs, in fact, many are developed
from our customer's own ideas. This website depicts only some of
